Delicious scent, poor quality bottle

Lovely scent, but very fragile bottle. When I twisted the cap back on the top of the (brand new!) bottle, it shattered and broke right off, rendering the roller ball useless-see photos. Had to transfer the perfume into another bottle, not ideal. I miss when this came in the regular roller ball. It was a more convenient size and much more affordable. I highly recommend this perfume, have been wearing it for years. I always get compliments on it. It is subtle, not over powering. Just smells delicious. Many perfumes give me a headache after awhile, I find this one to be a more natural scent. I own it in every sized bottle it has come in from sample size to full bottle. I would not recommend it in this format given the poor quality of the bottle.

It smells nice but the scent does not last! I also can’t smell it unless I am super close to it. It does not create a “bubble”. Very disappointing since I enjoy the scent.

The perfect vanilla

Vanilla is my favorite scent, and I've been searching for the perfect perfume for the longest. This one is perfect!! It has the nicest, cleanest vanilla scent and lasts for hours. I swear I can smell it on myself a day later.

if you like the smell of cigarettes get this

Not for me, it smells like stale cigarette smoke to me. I think I am just not the right person for it!

so many compliments

my boyfriend got in my car and the first thing he says is “wow it smells so good in here it smells like an ice cream shop” and sure enough it was miss vanilla woods that he was smelling. go buy this you will not regret it.

Disappointed

It smells amazing. This is the second bottle that I’ve purchased. I’m not sure if the formula was diluted but the scent disappears after a few hours, if that. I even layer it with the perfume and within hours it’s as though I have nothing on. It’s very disappointing because I absolutely love this scent and was hoping to make it my every day work scent but it simply doesn’t last.

Beautiful smell but not long lasting

This scent is what I actually dream of smelling like. It’s beautiful. I roll it on my wrists and neck and it blends nicely with other perfumes. For example, sometimes I’ll spray a Jo Malone scent and it always creates something nice new and fun. I use this multiple times a day and always have it in my bag… because I find the scent is gone after maybe 30 minutes. I don’t mind but thought I’d share in case someone else out there is looking for longevity in their scents.

Loved the Van. Woods. Spray- this doesn't compare!

I made the mistake of thinking I'd try this out, after buying the Vanilla woods perfume spray a few years ago, and absolutely loving the spray. I should have just went with the spray again, because this isn't as good. The spray definitely lasts longer- I could spray myself and still smell it the next day. This stuff just isn't as potent. If you want something that is going to have better projection and overall just last longer, don't get this.

Different formula

This used to be sold as a standard rollerball and now that they've changed the packaging this DOES NOT smell like the perfume. The perfume has a much more forward pear in the opening and a complex vanilla. To me, this new rollerball smells like a very cheap vanilla and I'm not sure why. Almost like car freshener. The rose quartz aspect is a nice touch though.

Layering Is Key

Im rating The 7 Virtues Vanilla Woods Gemstone Perfume Oil FIVE stars! I previously bought this brands Vanilla Woods Perfume but, the scent wasnt as strong as I like. Dont getvme wrong. The perfume solage is good. I was reading reviews about The 7 Virtues perfume AND The 7 Virtues Perfume Oil. Made perfect sense to me, to use both and layer them. The oil first, then layer the perfume. THAT did the trick for me. Now, not only is the vanilla scent stronger ( not overbearing) and when I am around other people, they compliment the scent, asking me what Im wearing. The two together are worth the prices. I feel, I wont run through my perfume too quickly. I advise anyone looking for the Vanilla scent, that isnt too woody, just a nice LIGHT Floral with vanilla that appeals to me as a top note. ( I dont think vanilla is the top note but layering the two, really brings out the vanilla, we love!

Lovely scent. Solid amount of vanilla, but balanced with some nice fruit and earthiness. Going to get the mist as well.
