I love the smell and the feeling on my face afterwards. Works good for my sensitive skin.

I have been using this product for a week and a half. I can't use it with just any cleanser it has to be a hydrating cleanser otherwise I feel dry and stretched but if I use it with my Cosrx Hyluronic Acid cleanser its fine. I love the smell but it is strong if you don't like fragrance. I'm not sure if I would be able to use this in the winter but for the humid summer its great

Lives up to the claims

One pump spreads effortlessly across my face, neck and chest, so I don’t have to tug at skin as I would have to when applying the same amount of another lotion. (I have oily skin, non-inflammatory acne, dark spots, and a bit of redness).

It Works!

I’m glad I decided to give this a try! I love Ren’s Clearcalm clarifying clay cleanser and figured I’d try the moisturizer from same line. First, I’m actually shocked by how mattifying this cream is for me, even more so than creams and lotions that advertise they are matte-effect. To me this is a bonus. Second, I really have noticed that this works to help shrink blemishes overnight and keep oil at bay. It’s probably not the only thing in my routine that is responsible but it’s certainly working with everything. As for moisture, my skin is quite oily right now during the summer so the lightness of this is working well. I am a bit worried this might not be hydrating enough for the dryer parts of my face in the winter, but I like the effectiveness of this so much I might just layer another moisturizer in those spots if need be. The only other thing to mention is that on application, the smell is weird to me. Almost like seaweed? But, the smell quickly disappears once it’s dried and doesn’t bother me. This seems to be working so well for my skin type that I’m overlooking the quirkier aspects of this product! I would definitely recommend it to someone with oily skin. But this might not be moisturizing enough if your skin is dry.

Amazing moisturizer!

This cream smells amazing! kinda like essential oils. it's super moisturizing and it has helped clear up some of my acne. I even let my mom try this and she tried to steal it from me. 100% recommend this!!!

Lovely enveloping moisturiser, not for the cold climate

I enjoyed using this gel cream by REN. It felt really protecting every time I applied it, it did not cause any new breakouts on my acne-prone skin. However, I'd not recommend relying on it solely in the cold climate - you may experience dryness in some areas.

The Best

This is the only thing that keeps my acneic and oily skin from peeling while I use actives like salicylic and glycolic acid in the morning and tretinoin at night. It is kind of thicker, so I use it more heavily at night and use less in the morning and give it more time to settle in before makeup. I haven’t found a moisturizer I like more at this price point !

calming!

I’ve been breaking out in a couple spots and noticed that I keep reaching for this bc it feels so nice on the skin. My breakouts calmed down but I do use all kinds of other treatments as well so not sure if it’s solely due to the cream but it’s still a really good one - perfect consistency (not way too light or heavy) absorbs and spreads well and feels amazing

A sales associate at the Pen Centre Sephora location in St Catharines, Ontario introduced this product to me and I am grateful for that. ClearCalm is such a great name for this product. It is a thick texture that genuinely leaves my skin feeling nourished and pours unclogged. It has a very pleasant and discreet scent that makes me feel calm. I LOVE all the clean products as I have combination: oily and dry skin and I find this has supported my skin well. I usually try different clean products every time I run out of moisturizer. I could see myself coming back for more with this product.
