Liquid gold

A MUST in my hair care routine. I use this anytime I shower. I put a few drops in my hand and massage it into damp hair. Perfect for either air drying or styling (because it’s also a heat protectant). The silky shine is so beautiful and the scent is divine. I get so many compliments when I use this in my hair!

Expensive but it makes the hair soft and shiny. I love the scent so much. I wish if it came as a perfume lol.

Don’t love

This hair oil is just meh. I got it on sale otherwise I would return. The smell is VERY musky—verging on the side of old grandma—and is STRONG. It’s a very sticky oil, you absolutely cannot put it on your hair and then go out without your hair looking stringy. It works best as an overnight oil. For the price, moroccan oil is much better imo.

Its good. It makes your hair shinier and it feels nice in the hair.

Leaves hair stringy and covered in a tacky film

I have fine wavy/curly hair that is generally able to handle a lot of hair product without looking greasy. I know that hair oiling originated in India and was excited to find an AAPI owned brand. Bought a kit for one of my Indian besties too! Unfortunately, after just a few drops, my hair became coarse and stringy. It has a gross film that transfers to your hands when you touch your hair. The top oils in this hair oil are safflower, castor, and coconut but I was hoping that they used a more elegant oil quality than I was accustomed too (love safflower and coconut but castor is notorious for coating hair and leaving texture). Will use as an expensive pre shampoo oil, I’m very disappointed.

Skip this & try something else

I received this as a free sample during the most recent VIB sale. I am not a fan of the small, but understand that is my own personal preference. Just a small bit of oil after my shower made my hair intolerable; it looked stringy & greasy and caused my strands to clump together. I had to wash my hair again the same day.

Okay…so I never just write reviews for the heck of it…I first got this as a sample. When I finished that which was not too long ago…I had to go get a new one…it is so good! Feels so nice in my hair…makes me want to smell my hair all the time.

Yes!

I use this at the end of my hair routine. Smells divine. And does not last, (I prefer it that way). My ends are nice and smooth.

Love this product! Heavy enough to help tame the frizz and bring curls back to life. A must have in my hair routine!

Never going back

I put the oil in for the first time yesterday and today my hair is still soft! The only downside is the scent which is very strong (smells like roses). But you only need a few drops so it doesn’t matter much. My hair has always been dry so I’m so happy to have found something that actually works and makes my hair look and feel healthy :)
