Pleasantly surprised!

I have not had much luck with Pat McGrath eyeshadow palettes in the past. I took a deep breath and decided to try this one ( I was torn between this and the all matte one but this one won out). I have been pleasantly surprised by it there are enough lighter colors and good everyday colors in here, they blend well and look good on. Only 4 stars becausethe price is stupid high.

Super pleased

After I ordered, I was worried I would regret. I'm not a Pat McGrath fan and rarely buy anything from the brand, but this palette called to me and I don't regret the purchase. The colors are similar to the CT Pillow Talk quad, except with more depth and the shimmers are nicer. I've used the palette twice now and have liked both looks and think I will get a lot of use out of this palette. It's not the most exciting palette,but it's good quality and the colors are wearable.

For the money you could do better.

I generally like the formula and shades are useable in this one, which is why I was drawn to it. The price is still wild for what you're getting though. The packaging feels cheap and unremarkable and the luxury feeling overall is not there for such an expensive product.

Beautiful Colors

This palette is a beautiful mix of mattes and shimmers. They apply beautifully with no fallout. Even though I am 73 I still like a little shimmer on the lower lid to add some sparkle.

Lovely formulas, annoying packaging.

Nice pink-leaning neutrals. Less impactful than the shimmers in the mothership palettes, but very wearable shades that work for every day or special occasions. The color payoff for these is fantastic. I found the packaging stupidly big for the amount of product, and the cardboard a little underwhelming for a luxury brand, -not sure why she didn't just do a regular mothership format full of neutrals and combine all three palettes into one since there are some really repetitive shades across all three- but overall really nice. If I can find a way to depan this so I don't have to mess with the floppy cardboard lid, I will be thrilled with it.
