Where has this been all my life?!
I was a faithful OGX Coconut Milk shampoo & conditioner user for years, until they changed their formula a few months ago. Since then, I've been on the hunt for something that won't make me hate my hair. In the last few months I've tried Pureology, Maui Moisture, and Nexxus. I have fine, thin hair that's just past my shoulders and is a weird combination of straight, curly, and wavy, with the added fun of frizz. I wash, condition, and blow dry my hair straight every morning, which unfortunately results in a lot of damage, but is the only way I can keep my hair looking neat and manageable. I also am going gray; I didn't want to go the all-over coloring route, so I get highlights and lowlights to blend the grays, and consequently I have some chemical damage as well. I kept hearing good things about Olaplex and even though it was pricier than I wanted, I decided to give it a try. Wow! I wish I had known about this line years ago! Yes, the cost is a bit high, but you only need a tiny amount (literally just a dime-size in my case). The smell is mild and clean. I noticed a difference in my hair immediately. My hair feels stronger and thicker, I have more body and shine, and less tangling. It was quite windy the other day, which generally results in my hair being terribly knotted, but it didn't tangle at all this time. I have been using No. 4 and No. 5 for about three weeks now, and I couldn't be happier. I have gone from someone who has hated their hair for 40+ years to someone who LOVES their hair in the space of a few weeks. I can't say enough great things about Olaplex. I plan on adding No. 3 and No. 9 to my routine.
